ARKADIN WHITEPAPER
A Cloud Based Approach: Enabling simple, high-quality, cost-effective collaboration.
This whitepaper outlines how Arkadin’s Cloud Collaboration Platform delivers unmatched simplicity, breakthrough quality of service, lower costs and enhanced security compared to competing alternatives.
State of the art
All of our collaboration and UC solutions are hosted on Arkadin's secure platform
What if you could ensure simplicity for users, reliability, security and global reach at an affordable price and without the headache of managing premises-based systems? You can, by leveraging our cloud-based collaboration platform.
Cloud based infrastructure and latest audio technology
Arkadin owns and operates the Cloud Collaboration Platform which delivers conferencing services using a secure private IP network, sparing customers from installing or managing any equipment or software.
The Arkadin Platform is optimized for exceptional audio conferencing quality thanks to minimal voice compression and proprietary techniques to remove latency and acoustic echo.
Securing communications: private IP network and data centers
Voice is transported through our platform’s private IP network, ensuring the integrity of communications at all times. The platform is hosted in Arkadin’s datacenters to ensure 100% physical security.
Ensuring reliability: dedicated, fully redundant, fault tolerant IP network
Each software and hardware component of the Arkadin network and datacenters is backed-up for full redundancy. If an IP connection is broken, another one replaces it immediately.
Avaya Application Servers provide a packaged conferencing platform with SIP-based architecture that supports the Avaya Meeting Exchange application.
Avaya Meeting Exchange hardware allows reservationless, attended and event conferences.
Radisys media servers perform Real-Time Protocol (RTP) media processing for IP-based audio, video, fax, and speech applications, including IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Media Resource Function (MRF). Customers include telecommunication service providers, collaboration service providers (CSPs), equipment manufacturers, solution developers, and enterprise customers. It includes voice over LTE (VoLTE), VoIP audio and IP video conferencing, and IP-to-IP transcoding.
Verizon Global Voice Solutions extend our international toll free and toll number coverage to offer international access when no in-country facilities are available, but where Verizon business correspondent relationships are established. End-users can also access our call centers through an international toll-free number or international number.
Dialogic provides media gateways that interconnect different types of digital media streams to create a transparent, end-to-end path for voice, video, and data. These gateways include premier bandwidth and codec optimization that can reduce costs significantly in the access and core portions of the network.
NTT provides a global Tier 1 IP backbone, using high quality global IP network connectivity for data center customers, enabling optimal selection of bandwidth. That global solution is a fully redundant IP backbone network structure.
Session border controllers (SBC) provide critical control functions to deliver high quality interactive communications—voice, video and multimedia sessions—across IP network borders. A “session” is any real-time, interactive voice, video using IP session-layer signaling protocols such as SIP. The “border” is any IP-IP network border such as those between service provider and enterprise. The “control” functions satisfy requirements in the areas of security, interoperability, availability, quality and regulatory compliance.
